Before setting up an initial appointment, I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation.  This is a chance for you to tell me about the concerns that would be bringing you in and ask me questions to see if I am a good fit for what you are looking for in a therapist.  It will also allow me to ask you some questions to make sure I have the necessary training and resources to be of assistance to you.  At the end of our discussion, we'll decide whether to embark on our work together.  We will discuss which of the following services offered are a proper fit:
